On June 29, 2010, Yvonne Davis Cutler went to meet her husband George on the best golf course made by God. Born in Danbury, WI on January 18, 1932 to Ruby Davis, she was adopted at three years old by her grandparents Eachus & Phoebe Davis. She graduated from Webster Union Free High School in 1950 and later attended Business College in Minneapolis. She married George Louis Cutler on August 16, 1952 and they made their first home in the Danbury/Webster, WI area. Their oldest son, George Vernon (Jody) was born in 1956 and in 1958 they moved to Bozeman, MT and began a life long love with the area. Their second son Eugene Ray (Gene) was born in 1959 to complete the family. Yvonne had many and varied jobs throughout her lifetime include developing and owning Cutler's Garden Center on Hillside Lane (now Lawson's), Clerk for Gallatin County and she retired from the Belgrade Public Schools. She was most proud of her work as Administrative Assistant to Chet Huntley during the initial development and building of Big Sky Resort. Yvonne & George were long time members of Riverside Country Club. She was involved with a multitude of community groups including the BPOE Lodge #463 Bozeman and was a Past President of MadGals. Yvonne loved to golf, travel, play the poker machines and socialize with all her many friends at Boxers and Riverside County Club and landscaping was her passion. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Davis, grandparents Eachus & Phoebe Davis, husband George L. Cutler and grandson Brandon Michael Cutler. Yvonne is survived by her sons Jody and Gene (Luanne), grandchildren Amy & Breanne and three great grandchildren and also her beloved cats. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Belgrade Senior Center, 92 E Cameron Ave, Bozeman, MT 59714 or Heart of the Valley Humane Society, PO Box 11390, Bozeman, MT 59718. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

She was a caring person and friend and I will miss our conversations dearly. It does my heart good to know she is finally reunited with George. She will be greatly missed, but, our loss is God's gain.
  6. Linda Ardisson wrote: Vonnie was one of the warmest and sweetest people I had the pleasure of meeting. She and George are my sister Luanne's Parents-in-law, and from our very first introduction, I always felt a part of her world and family. I used to love her Christmas cards, with all the pictures of her landscaping and cat kids... She will be truly missed, but is indeed teeing off on the greatest tee box ever. God bless, and keep you, Vonnie. Say hi to George. Linda
